Whartonscience is committed to communicating the excitement and wonder of science to anyone who will listen. I believe that we all can have an interest in how our world works and what makes it - and us - tick. But sometimes it doesn't catch our imagination. I'm just looking for the chance to catch more people's imagination with the wonder of chemistry, the glory of the cosmos and the fun of making things go bang on stage. Who is David Wharton?David is a chemistry teacher from the Angus Glens in Scotland, where he lives in an old farmhouse with his wife and his dogs. He teachers in a city comprehensive school, is an active meber of his local church and has been excited about science for as long as he can remember. David is also a member of Christians in Science.
